Supporting IEEE Activities

The IEEE Organization is the foundation for worldwide accepted standards for wireless communication? including WLAN, WPAN. The IEEE has also ratified the 802.15.4 2006 standard which is the base for the IP500 solution.

Supporting Internet Protocol (IP) Standards & Organizations

Today and in future IP is the way to connect things together. There are two layers of IP connectivity ? the upper layer to connect devices (PCs etc.) in an IT infrastructure (backbone) based on the full TCP/IP protocol – and at the lower IP layer to connect sensor devices to an IP network based on the 6LowPAN protocol. Both a related to the IPv6 standard.
